Ischia island Italy coast 1600-20 scarce charming miniature hand color map Belgium Netherlands early hand-written name and smallIschia Insula. Issued c. 1600, unknown source (likely c. 1590 1630). Latin text on reverse, small old paper repair to blank margin at top right corner (virtually undetectable visually) Charming and genuinely scarce little early 17th century engraved map with attractive hand color. Strapwork title cartouche enhances visual appeal. Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any small age flaws are minor and easy to overlook or forgive.
